For Sesame Paneer
2 cups thick paneer (cottage cheese) strips
sesame seeds (til) for rolling
oil for deep-frying
To Be Mixed Into Slurry Using 5 Tbsp Water
1/4 cup plain flour (maida)
1/4 cup cornflour
1 tsp dry red chilli flakes (paprika)
1 tsp dried mixed herbs
2 tbsp finely chopped coriander (dhania)
salt and to taste
For Serving

- To make {span class="bold1"}sesame paneer{/span}, dip each paneer strip in the prepared batter and roll in the sesame seeds till they are evenly coated from all the sides.
- Heat the oil in a deep non-stick kadhai and deep-fry, a few paneer slices at a time, on a medium flame, till they turn golden brown in colour from all the sides. Drain on an absorbent paper.

A very simple recipe..I made it as a starter when guests came over for dinner..If you like the taste of sesame seeds definitely give this a try..And schezuan sauce made it taste even better..
