With simple, easily-available ingredients, this dip can also be prepared very easily by just blending together all the ingredients. Keep the spring onion and curd dip refrigerated till you are ready to serve, to retain the fresh flavour and cool feel.

Recipe Description for Spring Onion and Curd Dip

Preparation Time:

1/2 cup finely chopped spring onions (whites and greens)
1 cup thick curds (dahi)
2 tsp roughly chopped green chillies
2 tsp roughly chopped garlic (lehsun)
1/2 tsp cumin seeds (jeera) powder
salt to taste

For Serving
bread sticks

  1. Combine spring onion whites and greens, ½ cup curds, green chillies, garlic and salt, in a mixer and blend till smooth.
  2. Transfer the mixture into a deep bowl, add the remaining ½ cup of curds and mix well using a whisk.
  3. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Serve chilled with bread sticks and chips.
