Makes 0.75 cup
1/2 cup soaked and chopped sun dried tomatoes
1/2 cup basil , torn into pieces
1 tbsp chopped garlic (lehsun)
1 tbsp lemon juice
2 tbsp walnuts (akhrot)
salt to taste

- Combine all the ingredients along with 1 tbsp of water in a mixer and blend it till smooth.
- Use as required or store it in an air-tight container in the refrigerator till use.

Have made basil pesto in the past with olive oil, now will have to try this new variant.
Tomatoes and basil pesto..goes very well with pasta.. salads..and dips. I have made this in quantity and stored it.. Loved the flavour of the pesto..
