Vegetable chinese fried rice is a mouthwatering fried rice recipe with rice cooked with stir fried vegetables and select sauces like soysauce, vinegar , chilli sauces and ajinomoto.

Ingredients


1 cup washed long grained rice (basmati)
150 gms chopped mixed vegetables (french beans, cabbage, carrots, spring Onion, capsicum)
1 tbsp ginger-garlic (adrak-lehsun) paste
1/2 tbsp chilli sauce (if u like it less spicy use less chilli sauce)
1 tsp tabasco sauce (optional)
1 tsp soy sauce
1 tsp vinegar
salt to taste
2 tbsp oil for sauteing

Method

  1. Take 2 tbsps of oil in a microwave proof bowl.
  2. Place the cut vegetables alongwith ginger garlic paste inside the dish.
  3. Mix with spoon and cook on high for 1 minute.
  4. Now add the washed rice.for 1 cup rice add 21/4 cups of water.
  5. Add.chilli sauce,vinegar,soy sauce and tabasco.
  6. Stir it well.add salt to taste.
  7. Cover microwave dish and cook on high for 8-10 mins stirring occasionally to check for water.
  8. The dish should be done in 8-10 minutes.
  9. If you find there is excess moisture microwave for another 2 mins and let the dish stand for 5 mins before serving.
