Makes 14 to 16 pieces
To Be Mixed For The Marination
3 1/2 tbsp curds (dahi)
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp chilli powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder (haldi)
1/4 tsp garam masala
1 tbsp ginger (adrak) paste
1 tbsp chopped green chillies
3 tbsp finely chopped mint leaves (phudina)
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp oil
Other Ingredients
16 paneer (cottage cheese) rectangular pieces
1 onion cut into 1 1/2" wedges
1 capsicum cut into 1 1/2" long pieces
1 red capsicum cut into 1 1/2" long pieces
12 cherry tomatoes
1 tbsp oil
1/2 tsp salt
oil for grilling
1 tbsp chaat masala
Method
- Method
- Combine the prepared marination and paneer in a bowl and mix gently and keep aside to marinate for 4 hours.
- Just before cooking, combine all the vegetables along with oil and salt in bowl and mix well.
- Arrange into skewers, alternating vegetables with paneer.
- Barbecue for 2-3 minutes each side.
- Remove from skewers and lightly sprinkle the chaat masala.
- Serve immediately.
