400 gms capsicum
3 onions, sliced
chopped tomatoes
1/2 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)
1 1/2 tsp garam masala
1/2 tsp each ginger (adrak) paste / garlic (lehsun) paste
1/2 tsp cumin seeds (jeera) powder
1/2 tsp dried mango powder (amchur)
1/2 tsp coriander (dhania) powder
1 1/2 tsp chilli powder
1/2 tsp kitchen king masala
1 tsp dried fenugreek leaves (kasuri methi)
6 tbsp tomato ketchup
salt to taste
2 tbsp oil
Method
- Heat oil in a pan.
- Fry the onions till transculent.
- Add the ginger garlic pastes and fry for a minute.
- Add the tomatoes and fry.
- Add all the masala powders and fry for a minute.
- Add the capsicum and fry, when half done add salt and tomato ketchup. cover and cook for 5 minutes and serve hot with parathas or jeera rice.
- (if you want the capsicum to be a little crisp then add the salt and the ketchup a little earlier).
