Makes 4 serving
8 slices of bread
2 cups vegetable stock
1/2 cup sliced onions
50 gms paneer (cottagte cheese) cubes
1/2 cup boiled sweet corn kernels (makai ke dane)
1/2 cup grated processed cheese
1 cup cooked rice
1 tsp minced garlic
chopped green chillies to taste
2 tsp garam masala
1 tsp freshly ground black pepper (kalimirch) powder
sesame seeds (til) to garnish
salt to taste
oil to deep fry
Method
- Method
- Take vegetable stock in a bowl.
- Add the onions, paneer,corn, garlic and green chillies.
- Break the bread slices into small pieces and mix them with the vegetable mixture.
- Mix the rice and add the garam masala, pepper and salt.
- Mash the complete mixture together for at least 5 minutes so that layers are finely mixed.
- Heat the oil in kadhai, make 8 medium sized oval rolls out of this mixture. Between each role put some grated cheese and shape the rolls again.
- Deep fry them in the oil till golden brown and crisp.
- Serve hot.
