Makes 4 servings
1/2 cup chopped onions
1/2 tsp mustard seeds ( rai / sarson)
5 to 6 curry leaves (kadi patta)
1 shredded cabbage
1/2 cup coconut milk
1/2 tsp chilli powder
salt to taste
oil for cooking

- Method
- Heat the oil in a pan and add the mustard seeds.
- When the seeds crakcle, add the curry leaves and onions and saute till they turn golden brown.
- Add the turmeric and chili powder, mix well and saute for 2-3 minutes.
- Add the cabbage and saute for another 5 minutes.
- Add the salt and mix well.
- Add the coconut milk, mix well and cook till the curry becomes thick enough.
- Serve hot with rotis or parathas.
