One of my favorite weight loss snacks, each canapé has only 57 calories. Rich in calcium, it also provides essential fatty acids from olives, which help get the glow back on your skin.

Ingredients


To Be Mixed Into A Spread
3/4 cup grated low-fat paneer (cottage cheese)
2 tbsp thick low-fat curds (dahi)
1 1/2 tbsp blanched and finely chopped celery stalks
1/4 tsp finely chopped green chillies

Other Ingredients
4 whole wheat bread slices
2 tsp low-fat butter

For The Garnish
a sprig of coriander (dhania)
4 stuffed olives , cut into roundels

Method
    Method
  1. Divide the spread into 4 equal portions and keep aside.
  2. Trim the edges of the bread slices, apply ½ tsp of butter on both sides of each slice and cook them on a non-stick tava (griddle) till both the sides are lightly brown in colour.
  3. Spread a portion of the spread on one side of each bread slice and cut each slice into 4 squares. Serve immediately garnished with coriander and pitted olives.

  1. You may alternatively toast the bread slices in a toaster and then butter them.
