To make dashmi meethi roti, combine all the ingredients in a deep bowl and knead into a semi-stiff dough using approx. ¼ cup of water. Divide the dough into 4 equal portions and roll out each portion into a 200 mm. (8") diameter circle using a little whole wheat flour for rolling. Heat a non-stick tava (griddle) and cook each roti, using ghee, till it turns golden brown in colour from both the sides. Serve hot or cold.
When a dash of jaggery is added to whole wheat flour dough, you get this mouth-watering Maharashtrian jaggery roti. This ever-popular roti is just mildly sweet, so you can have enough of it to make a complete meal with lemon pickle or green chilli thecha and sprouted kala chana ambti.

1 tbsp oil
1 tbsp milk
salt to taste

Flatten the dough ball with your palms and place on the board for rolling.

Roll out each portion into a 150 mm (6") diameter circle using a little whole wheat flour for rolling.

Heat a non-stick tava (griddle) and grease with ghee.

Place roti on hot greased tava.

Cook for 30 seconds while greasing the paratha on top.

Flip over after cooking for a little bit.

Now brush some ghee on the cooked surface top ( as we going to flip over ) and cook for 20 seconds.

Flip over and your roti is ready.

Serve immediately.
