Easy Tasty Mango Curry recipe - How to make Easy Tasty Mango Curry

Makes 4 serving
500 gms raw mangoes , chopped
2 onions , chopped
1 tbsp grated jaggery (gur)
1 tsp grated ginger (adrak)
6 whole dry kashmiri red chillies
1 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)
1/2 tsp turmeric powder (haldi)
salt to taste
2 tbsp oil
Method
- Method
- Heat a pan and dry roast the cumin seeds for 1 minute.
- Combine the cumin seeds along with red chillies, ginger and garlic and blend in a mixer till smooth.
- Heat the oil in a pan and add the onions and saute till they turn translucent.
- Add ground masala, turmeric and saute for more 2 minutes.
- Add the jaggery and mango pieces, mix well and add 2 cups water and salt, mix well and cover and cook for 5 minutes.
- Serve hot.
