Mock Sangria
by Tarla Dalal
Sangria, which gets its name from the spanish word sangre, literally means blood red. This dark red drink is traditionally drunk directly from a long spouted jug. Well, if you cannot find that many jugs, you can serve them in glasses, of course! nobody would mind the deviation from tradition, since the flavour more than offsets any other compromise! the more the grapes are soaked in the syrup, more mature is the flavour of the drink. Glass used: all purpose wine glass
