We are familiar with the nachos made with maize flour but try these nachos with rice flour which can be stored in an air tight container and doesn't require salsa to relish.It itself is very tasty.

Makes 4 servings
1 cup rice flour (chawal ka atta)
1/2 cup plain flour (maida)
2 tbsp hot oil
1 tsp dry red chilli flakes (paprika)
1/4 tsp dried oregano
salt to taste
2 tbsp crushed peanuts
1 tbsp dessicated coconut
1 tbsp finely chopped curry leaves (kadi patta)
1 tsp white sesame seeds (til)
1 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)
1/4 tsp asafoetida (hing)
water for binding dough
oil for deep frying
Method
- Method
- Combine all the ingredients in a bowl, add water and knead into a medium soft dough.
- Make balls of this dough and roll to a roti of medium thickness.
- Prick these rotis with a fork.
- Cut the rotis to triangles and deep fry in hot oil on a medium flame till pink and serve with tea.
