Makes 4 servings
150 gms paneer (cottage cheese) , chopped
250 gms green peas
2 cups milk
1/2 cup sliced carrots
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp ghee
2 tsp ginger-green chilli paste
salt to taste
1 tsp coriander (dhania) seeds powder
1/4 tsp turmeric powder (haldi)
1/2 tsp chilli powder
1 tsp dried mango powder (amchur)
1/2 garam masala
1 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)
chopped coriander (dhania) for garnshing
Method
- Method
- Bring the milk to boil iin a deep pan, add the green peas and carrots and cook till they turn soft. Keep aside.
- Heat the butter and ghee in a kadhai and add the cumin seeds.
- When the seeds crackle, add the ginger-green chilli paste and saute for a few seconds.
- Add the paneer and saute till paneer turns pink.
- Add the turmeric powder, coriander seeds powder, chilli powder, dried mango powder,garam masala, mix well and saute till the masala turns golden brown.
- Add the cooked carrots and peas along with the milk and mix well.
- Aerve hot garnished with coriander.
