Ingredients


For Pudina Boondi Raita
2 cups boondi
2 cups whisked curd (dahi)
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
1/2 tsp roasted cumin seeds (jeera) powder
1/2 tsp chaat masala
2 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp black salt (sanchal)
2 tbsp finely chopped coriander (dhania)

To Blend Into Paste Using 2 Tbsp Water
3/4 cup mint leaves (pudina)
2 chopped green chillies

For The Tempering
2 tsp oil
1/2 tsp mustard seeds ( rai / sarson)
1/2 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)
2 pandi chillies

Method

  1. To make {span class="bold1"}pudina boondi raita{/span}, in a deep bowl, add curd, prepared mint paste, red chili powder, cumin powder, chaat masala, sugar, salt, coriander and boondi.
  2. Mix well and keep aside.
  3. Heat oil in a small pan, add mustard seeds, cumin seeds and pandi chillies.
  4. Switch off the flame and pour the tempering over the raita. Mix well.
