Sesame Asparagus Stir-Fry recipe - How to make Sesame Asparagus Stir-Fry

Serves 4.
4 cups asparagus, cut into 50 mm. (2") long (blanched)
3 tsp chopped garlic
2 tsp chopped ginger
3 tsp soy sauce
1 tsp cornflour mixed with 1/2 cup water
a pinch of sugar
3 tsp toasted sesame seeds (til)
1 tbsp oil
salt to taste
Method
- Main Procedure
- Heat the oil in a wok or a frying pan, add the garlic and ginger and stir-fry over a high flame for a few seconds.
- Add the soya sauce and asparagus and mix together and toss well.
- Add the cornflour paste, sugar, salt and sesame seeds and cook for 1 to 2 minutes, till the cornflour coats the asparagus.
- Serve immediately.
