1 tbsp butter
1 green chilli , diagonally cut
1 tsp ginger (adrak) juliennes
1/2 tsp kashmiri red chilli powder
1/4 cup fresh cream
1 tsp dried fenugreek leaves (kasuri methi)
salt to taste
1/2 tsp sugar
1 tbsp finely chopped coriander (dhania)
For The Gravy
1 tbsp oil
1 tbsp butter
1 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)
1 bay leaf (tejpatta)
3 black peppercorns (kalimirch)
1 inch cinnamon (dalchini)
2 green cardamoms (elaichi)
1 black cardamom (badi elaichi)
3 cloves (laung / lavang)
1 cup roughly chopped onions
1 inch ginger (adrak) , chopped
8 to 10 garlic (lehsun) cloves
2 whole dry kashmiri red chillies
1 green chilli , slit
2 tbsp cashew nuts (kaju)
1 tbsp chopped coriander (dhaania) stalks
1 cup roughly chopped tomatoes
To Be Mixed Into Curd Masala Mixture
1/2 cup whisked curds (dahi)
1/2 tsp turmeric powder (haldi)
1 tsp kashmiri red chilli powder
2 tsp coriander-cumin seeds (dhania-jeera) powder
1/2 tsp garam masala

- Mix well and cook on a medium flame for 3 to 4 minutes. Remove on a plate and allow it to cool completely.
