salt and freshly ground black pepper (kalimirch) to taste
- Method
- Combine enough water and eggs in a saucepan, once the water starts boiling, cook on medium flame for 5 minutes.
- Drain the water and allow the eggs to cool slightly and crack the eggs to remove the shell.
- Cut each egg vertically into two equal portions.
- Sprinkle salt and pepper evenly over it and serve immediately.
