Delicious refried beans enhanced with tomato puree, capsicum and mixed herbs and spiced with green chillies and tabasco.
Enjoy with ladi pav , rice or Corn Tortillas .

Makes 4 to 6 servings
1 1/2 cups boiled rajma (kidney beans)
3 onions , chopped
1 tbsp dried mixed herbs
1/4 cup oil
2 capsicum , chopped
1 red capsicum , chopped
2 green chillies , chopped
3/4 cup tomato pulp
tabasco sauce to taste
salt and to taste

- Method
- Heat the oil in a non-stick pan, add the onions, capsicum, green chillies and mixed herbs, mix well and sauté on a medium flame till they turn soft.
- Add the tomato pulp and salt, mix well and cover and cook for 15 minutes, while stirring occasionally, till the mixture becomes thick.
- Add the rajma, tobasco sauce and pepper, mix well and sauté for more 5 minutes.
- Cover and cook on a slow flame for another 20 minutes.
- Serve hot.
