Makes 4 to 12 dumplings
1 1/2 cups finely chopped spinach (palak)
5 tbsp crumbled paneer (cottage cheese)
1 tsp finely chopped green chillies
a pinch of nutmeg (jaiphal) powder
2 tbsp plain flour (maida)
a pinch of baking powder
salt to taste
- Method
- Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and mix well.
- Divide the mixture into 12 equal portions and roll each portion into a round dumpling.
- Arrange the dumplings on a greased sieve and steam in a steamer for 4 to 5 minutes.
- Serve immediately.
