Strawberry and Sweetcorn Chaat recipe - How to make Strawberry and Sweetcorn Chaat

Makes 4 serving
1 cup boiled sweet corn kernels (makai ke dane)
1 cup chopped strawberries
1/4 cup boiled and chopped potatoes
1/4 cup chopped spring onions
1/4 cup grapes
1/2 tsp black salt (sanchal)
1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper (kalimirch) powder
salt to taste
1/2 tsp cumin seeds (jeera) powder
2 tbsp chopped coriander (dhania)
1 tsp grated ginger (adrak)
2 tsp olive oil
1 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)
1 small cinnamon (dalchini) stick
1 clove
To Garnish
a few roasted almonds (badam)
Method
- Method
- Heat the oil in a pan and add the cumin seeds, cinnamon and cloves.
- When the seeds crackle, add the potatoes and corn and saute for a few seconds.
- Cool and discard the cinnamon and clove.
- Add the remaining ingredients and mix well.
- Serve immediately garnished with almonds.
