This salad is a mélange of flavors and colors. It is quiet refreshing with the combination of fresh vegetables and tangy pineapple prepared in citrus sweet dressing.

Ingredients

1 cup iceberg lettuce , torn into pieces
1/2 cup shredded red cabbage
1/2 cup pineapple cubes
1/2 cup cucumber cubes
1/4 cup capsicum strips
1/4 cup red capsicum strips
1/4 cup grated carrot
1/2 cup apple cubes

To Be Mixed Into A Dressing
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp lemon juice
2 tsp honey
1 tsp whole grain mustard paste
1/4 tsp lemon rind
1/2 tsp dried basil
salt and to taste

For The Garnish
2 tbsp roasted sunflower seeds (surajmukhi ke beej)

  1. Combine all the ingredients along with the prepared dressing in a deep bowl and toss well.
  2. Serve immediately garnished with sunflower seeds.
