  1. Combine the cornflour and ½ cup of water in a deep bowl, mix well and keep aside.
  2. Heat the oil in a broad non-stick pan, add the ginger and garlic paste and sauté on a medium flame for few seconds.
  3. Add all the remaining ingredients along with cornflour –water mixture, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 6 minutes, while stirring continuously or till the sauce thickens.
  4. Use immediately or store it in an air – tight container and use as required.

What a nice tangy sauce ! Very handy and used it for making my stir fry. It gave a nice oriental and exotic flavor. Next time I am planning to use it while making my noodles or as a gravy with mixed veggies to eat with my hot steaming fried rice.
