1 onion, peeled
1 potato, peeled
1 tomato
1 carrot, peeled
1/4 bottle gourd (doodhi / lauki), peeled
2 stalks celery, chopped
1 tsp butter
4 black peppercorns (kalimirch)
1/4 tsp chopped dill (shepu / suva bhaji)
salt to taste
For the garnish
2 tbsp chopped coriander (dhania)
3 tbsp grated paneer
Method
- Put 3 cups of water to boil.
- Wash and thinly slice all the vegetables.
- Combine all the vegetables, butter, peppercorns and salt with the 3 cups of hot water in a pressure cooker.
- Pressure cook for 1 whistle.
- Serve hot garnished with the coriander and grated paneer.
