Makes 4 servings
3 tbsp oil
1 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)
1/2 tsp turmeric powder (haldi)
a pinch of asafoetida (hing)
2 tbsp ginger-garlic (adrak-lehsun) paste
1/2 tsp green chilli paste
2 finely chopped onions
1/2 cup tomato puree
1 tsp coriander (dhania) powder
1 tbsp fresh cream
2 tbsp dry coconut paste
1 tbsp garam masala
1 tbsp chilli powder
salt to taste
20 gms baby corn roundels

- Method
- Heat the oil in a pan add the cumin seeds, turmeric powder and asafoedita, fry for few seconds.
- Add the ginger-garlic and chilli paste, mix well and fry for few seconds.
- Add the onion, cook for 2 minutes on a medium flame.
- Add the tomato puree, coriander powder, cream, coconut paste, garam masala, chilli powder, salt, baby corns and some water mix well and cook for 5-7 minutes on a slow flame or till the baby corns are cooked.
- Searve hot.
