Here’s a tongue-tickling Chilli Garlic Mushroom Recipe made in a crossover Indian style. The mushrooms are cooked quickly and easily, flavoured with chilli-garlic paste, tomato ketchup and other easily available ingredients.
The myriad flavours together with the tempting texture of mushrooms makes this a fabulous dish to try.

Makes 2 servings
1 tbsp chilli garlic paste
2 cups sliced mushrooms (khumbh)
2 tbsp oil
1/2 cup finely chopped onions
salt to taste
2 tbsp finely chopped coriander (dhania)
1 tbsp tomato ketchup
1 tsp lemon juice
- Method
- Heat the oil in a broad non-stick pan, add the onions and chilli garlic paste and sauté on a medium flame for 2 minutes.
- Add the mushrooms and salt, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 3 minutes, while stirring occasionally.
- Add the coriander, tomato ketchup and lemon juice, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 1 minute, while stirring occasionally.
- Serve hot.
