Makes 4 servings
1 cup peeled and finely chopped cucumber
1/2 cup finely chopped apple (unpeeled)
1 cup deseeded and finely chopped tomatoes
1 tsp finely chopped green chillies
2 tsp vinegar
1/2 tbsp castor sugar or powdered sugar
salt to taste
- Method
- Combine all the ingredients in a deep bowl and mix well.
- Refrigerate for atleast 30 minutes and serve chilled.

Hello, the salad was pretty tasty as is but because I like playing with flavors, I added, lettuce, pecans, raisins and bumped up the dressing by adding olive oil, honey, red wine vinegar and herbs to the original salad dressing. I made about 4 tbs of the dressing. Either way, both were great and my family loved it. It''s definitely better after resting for 30 minutes or more.
