Makes 2 servings
1 1/2 cups low fat curds (dahi)
1 tsp plain flour (maida)
1/4 tsp turmeric powder (haldi)
2 tbsp low fat milk
2 tsp ghee
1/2 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)
1/4 cup finely chopped onions
2 chopped green chillies
1/2 tsp grated ginger (adrak)
1/4 tsp chaat masala
2 to 3 tsp chopped tomatoes
1 tbsp chopped cucumber
a pinch of salt
1 tbsp chopped coriander (dhania) for garnishing
Method
- Method
- Combine the curds, plain flour, turmeric powder,salt and skim milk in a bowl and whisk well.
- Heat the ghee in a pan and add the cumin seeds.
- When the seeds crackle, add the onions, green chillies and ginger and saute on a medium flame for a second.
- Add the curd mixture and cook for a few seconds.
- Add the tomatoes and cucumber and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Garnish with coriander and chaat masala and serve warm.
