Makes 4 serving
1 cup sliced radish (mooli)
1 tbsp chilli powder
2 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp oil
salt to taste
For The Batter
1/2 cup besan (bengal gram flour)
1/4 tsp turmeric powder (haldi)
1/4 tsp asafoetida (hing)
2 tsp hot oil
salt to taste
a pinch baking soda
oil to deep fry
Method
- Method
- In a bowl, mix lemon juice, chilli powder, salt, oil. add mooli slices to it, mix well so that the mooli slices are well coated with it and keep aside for some time.
- Prepare the batter for bhajiya in semi thick consistency and heat the oil for deep frying.
- Dip each mooli slice with the coating in to the batter and deep fry it into the hot oil until brownish.
- Drain and serve hot.
