how to make amritsari paneer bhurji
-
Heat 2 tbsp oil in a broad non-stick pan.
-
Add 1 tbsp finely chopped garlic (lehsun). Garlic brings a pungent, savory kick to the dish. It releases its fragrance, making the bhurji even more enticing.
-
Add 1 tsp finely chopped ginger (adrak). A small amount of ginger can add depth of flavor to a dish without overpowering it.
-
Add 1 tsp finely chopped green chillies. The chillies bring a kick of spice to the dish.
-
Sauté for a few seconds.
-
Add 1 cup finely chopped onions. The onions are sautéed until softened and translucent, releasing their natural sugars that caramelize and add depth of flavor to the dish.
-
Cook on a medium flame for 2 to 3 minutes.

Add 1 cup hot water.
-
Cook on a medium flame for 2 to 3 minutes.
