Avocado Coconut Smoothie, Healthy 4 Ingredient
by Tarla Dalal
The Avocado Coconut Smoothie is a droolworthy yet healthy smoothie, which is filling enough to have for breakfast, as a between-meals snack or after a workout.
It combines the lusciousness of avocadoes with the pleasant, creamy flavour of coconut to give you a really soothing glassful. A good dose of spinach adds a splash of colour and more nutrient value to the smoothie, while curd imparts its classic tang.
The best part is that each of these ingredients also adds to the nutrition quotient of this smoothie. Avocado is rich in mono-unsaturated fatty acids (MUFA), which have been proven to be heart-healthy and help maintain cholesterol levels in the body. Avocado is also rich in Lutein, a potent antioxidant.
Coconut is made up of medium chain fatty acids, which increase energy expenditure and enhance physical performance. It helps regain muscle strength after exercise. This smoothie is also convenient, because it stays fresh in the fridge for 4 hours.

Love this healthy breakfast smoothie. All healthy ingredients and good to see the use of coconut milk instead of regular milk which is unhealthy. Thanks for the recipe.
