Corn, Basil and Fusilli Soup recipe - How to make Corn, Basil and Fusilli Soup

Serves 4.
1 onion, chopped
2 cloves of garlic (lehsun), chopped
3/4 cup (approx. 200 grams)cream style sweet corn (canned)
10 basil leaves, chopped
1/3 cup fusilli
1 tsp Pesto
1 tsp olive oil or oil
salt to taste
black pepper (kalimirch) powder to taste
For the garnish
2 tbsp grated processed cheese
basil (optional)
Method
- Method
- Heat the oil and saute the onion and garlic till the onion is translucent.
- Add the corn and saute for one minute.
- Add 3 cups of water, the basil and fusilli and simmer till the fusilli is cooked.
- Add the Pesto, salt and pepper and bring to a boil.
- Serve hot, garnished with the cheese and basil leaves.
