Cottage Cheese and Dill Canapés

In the Cottage Cheese and Dill Canapés, thick curd is used to bind together the filling, which is further topped with sliced olives. Together the ingredients present a well-balanced flavour, and the little olive-topped triangles also look very dainty and nice!

Makes 12 canapés
6 brown bread , lightly browned
1 cup grated paneer (cottage cheese)
2 tbsp thick curds (dahi)
6 tsp chopped dill leaves
a dash of chopped green chillies
black olives for garnish
salt to taste
- Main procedure
- Mix the paneer, curds, dill, green chilli and salt very well.
- Spread the mixture evenly on 6 bread slices.
- Cut each slice into 2 rectangles and garnish with a slice of olive on each piece
- Serve immediately.
