2 cups soaked and cooked long grained rice (basmati)
2 tbsp oil
1 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)
1/2 cup chopped onions
1 tsp finely chopped ginger (adrak)
2 tsp finely chopped garlic (lehsun)
1/2 cup finely chopped capsicum
1/2 cup boiled green peas
1 1/2 tsp chilli powder
1 tsp coriander (dhania) powder
1/4 tsp turmeric powder (haldi)
salt to taste
2 tbsp finely chopped coriander (dhania)
1/2 tsp lemon juice

Tips to cook the perfect rice for Tomato Pulao
- Clean and wash the rice. Soak the rice in a deep bowl with enough water for 30 minutes drain and keep aside.
