This crunchy sweet and spicy preparation is the first dish that arrives when you dine at a chinese restaurant. Khimchi is a general term that refers to preserved vegetables (that are usually eaten in the winter when fresh vegetables are scarce). You can also use cucumber and carrot strips along with the cabbage. Just remember to adjust the other ingredients proportionately

1 cup cabbage , cut into 25 mm. (1") dices
1 tsp chilli powder
1 tbsp powdered sugar
1 tbsp vinegar
salt to taste
