Ingredients
2 cups ghee
1 kg chana dal (split bengal gram) , soaked and grounded into a coarse paste
3 cups sugar
5 cardamoms
silver paper and almonds (badam) for garnishing
Method
    Method
  1. Heat ghee in a kadhai, add the cardamoms and saute till the aroma comes out.
  2. Add the channa dal paste, mix well and cook till the dal changes its colour.
  3. Add the sugar, mix well and cook for more 10 to 15 minutes, while stirring continuously, till the sugar dissolves completely.
  4. Remove from the flame and transfer the mixture into a greased tray.
  5. Garnish with almonds and silver warq and keep aside to set.
  6. Cut into desired shapes and serve.
