Makes 4 servings
For Banana Salad
2 cups roughly chopped bananas
a few drops lemon juice
1/2 cup peeled and roughly chopped cucumber
1/2 tbsp finely chopped dill leaves
1 tbsp roasted and coarsely crushed peanuts
1/2 tsp finely chopped green chillies
salt to taste
For The Dressing
1/2 cup fresh curd (dahi) , whisked
1/4 cup finely chopped fresh mint leaves (pudina)
1 tsp honey
salt to taste
freshly ground black pepper (kalimirch) to taste
For The Garnish
1 tbsp roasted and coarsely crushed peanuts
1/2 tbsp finely chopped dill leaves

- For the dressing, combine the curds, mint leaves (pudina), honey, green chillies, salt and pepper in a bowl, mix well and keep aside.
- Combine the bananas, lemon juice, cucumber, dill leaves, crushed peanuts and salt.
- Chill in the fridge for 30 minutes. Any longer and the banana will loose colour.
- Just before serving add the prepared dressing and toss well.
- Serve the {span class="bold1"}banana salad{/span} chilled garnished with peanuts and dill leaves.
