Ingredients

For The Balls
1 cup grated processed cheese
1/2 cup fine chopped green garlic (hara lehsun)
2 tbsp fresh chopped basil
2 tbsp boiled sweet corn kernels (makai ke dane)
1/4 cup fresh bread crumbs
1 tsp chilly flakes
1/2 tsp dried oregano
1/2 tsp mixed herbs
salt to taste
1 tsp pepper powder

For The Batter
2 tbsp plain flour (maida)
1/2 cup water

Other Ingredients
oil for deep frying
bread crumbs for coating the balls

For The Dip
1 tsp oil
1/4 tsp dried oregano
2 tsp soy sauce
2 tsp vinegar
1/4 cup tomato ketchup
2 tsp chopped green chillies
2 tbsp chopped spring onions
2 tbsp chopped green garlic (hara lehsun)
coriander (dhania) for garnishing
1/2 cup water
Method

For the balls

    For the balls
  1. Mix all the ingredients and make balls of a lemon's size and keep aside.

For the batter

  1. Mix plain flour and water in a bowl and keep aside.

How to proceed

    How to proceed
  1. Take the prepared balls and dip in the prepared batter and coat with bread crumbs.
  2. Then deep fry in hot oil on a medium flame till crisp and keep aside.

For the dip

    For the dip
  1. Heat oil in a pan and add oregano and chillies.
  2. Allow the chillies to roast a little and then add soya sauce, tomato sauce and vinegar.
  3. Cook a while with half cup of water and then add spring onions and garlic. Mix well.

  1. Take the serving plate and place the prepared balls and pour the dip over it and serve hot garnished with coriander.
