Rose cookie is not originally an Anglo indian recipe. Keralites make this with very different ingredients which had been modified over the years buy other communities who have made this their own.

Unfortunately, ,, the real achappams are made with rice flour and coconut milk with added sugar and sesame seeds. Maida is not used by Christians in kerala..also no baking soda

Wow.. these rose cookies are just so so crunchy.. I read the recipe.. and hunted for the mould.. I found this mould in a utensils shop.. And made this recipe.. and it turned out so good.. it was just over within 1 hour.. a hit recipe in mu house..
