I made it as per simple instructions. the soup smells of moong dal and not very sour or tangy

Hi Khushdeep, This is a tried and tested recipe in our kitchen. The tangy flavour comes (totally depends on the sourness) from tomatoes as you can see there is no other ingredient added for it. If you still feel it didn''t taste well then skip adding sugar. Do try more and more recipes and share with us your feedback. Happy Cooking!

Hi, I tried this soup and turned out to be very tasty. thanks for the recipe. but there was raw smell of moongdal and tomatoes, not sure how to eliminate that. Please give some tips for this.

Tarala jee I am going to try this recipe. Moong dal incorporation in soup sounds good and healthy. It will also give the satiety to the recipe. Well I m planning a weight loss program and I guess this will be a good filler for me.
