Ingredients

1 cup moong (whole green gram) sprouts
1 cup chickpea sprouts
2 medium boiled and mashed potatoes
2 tbsp soaked and drained rice (chawal) flakes
1/2 tsp whole peppercorns (kalimirch)
2 green chillies finely chopped
10 cashew nuts finely chopped
1/2 cup finely chopped coriander (dhania) leaves
salt to taste
oil for shallow frying

Method
    Method
  1. Combine all the ingredients except oil in a mixer and grind them together to form a coarse paste.
  2. Transfer to a bowl and shape into a round tikki.
  3. Cook each tikki on a non-stick tava using little oil till both sides turn golden brown in colour.
  4. Repeat with the remaining ingredients to make more tikkis.
  5. Serve hot with coriander chutney.
