Ingredients


tomota-1
crushed ginger and garlic-small amount
green chilli-1 chopped
pepper jeera powder-1 tea spoon
salt to taste
lime-1/2
water-300 ml
for tempering
mustard,jeera,hing
garnishing
corriander leaves and curry leaves

Method

  1. Take water in a small vessel.
  2. Cut the tomatoes into small pieces and put itin the water.
  3. Add haldi,pepper jeera powder,salt,ginger,garlic,chilli
  4. Boil the mixture until tomatoes are cooked.
  5. For tempering
  6. Heat oil in a tawa
  7. Add mustard jeera and asfodieta and curry leaves
  8. Allow it to splutter.
  9. Garnish the rasam with chopped corrainder leaves
  10. Allow it to cool.
  11. Add the lime juice
  12. Serve it with hot rice and papad.
  13. Add water if required
