Ingredients


1 kg plain flour (maida)
500 gms butter
200 gms sugar
1 1/2 cups milk
2 tsp levelled, soda bi carbonate

Method

  1. Cream the butter, milk and sugar until light and fluffy.
  2. Sieve flour, and soda bicarbonate together. fold this into the creamy mixture and prepare a soft dough.
  3. Leave the dough for more than 5 hours.
  4. Divide the dough into 6equal portions and roll each ball on a flour board to a thickness of 1/4".
  5. Cut into desirable shapes, arrange in a baking tray and bake in a preheayed oven at 450 degree f or 220 degree c until golden brown.
