Ingredients


1/2 kg tender green broccoli
250 gms tofu (bean curd/ soya paneer) (hard or medium)
onions
sun-dried tomatoes (use regular tomatoes if not available)
onions
garlic (lehsun)
salt to taste
oil
chilli powder to taste
garam masala

Method

  1. Wash and cut broccoli into florets.
  2. Cut tofu into half inches cubes.
  3. Boil water with salt in it.
  4. Add tofu to the boiling water and let it cook for about 4 mts.
  5. Chop onions lengthwise and garlic finely.
  6. Heat oil in a wok (kadai)and add onions and garlic and let cook on slow fire till onions are translucent.
  7. Add broccoli and let it cook for a couple of mts and then cover it for another couple of mts or till it is almost cooked.
  8. Lastly add tofu and tomatoes cut lengthwise and add a little more salt, garam masala.
  9. Let it all cook for a couple of mts till the tomatoes are soft. you can cover the wok when finally cooking all this.
  10. The dish is ready. it is very nutritious and excellent with vegetarian pulao.
