Orange rasam recipe - How to make Orange rasam

Ingredients


4-6orange slices to garnish ,
4 cups orange juice,
1/4tsp corn flour -,
2tsp, toor dal,
1/4tsp .1/4 tsp turmeric powder,
1/4 tsp crushed pepper corns,
2tspTamarind pulp,
2whole red chilies,
a pinch of asafoetida,
1/4 tsp mustard seeds,
2sprigs of curry leaves,
1tbsp rasam powder,
1 tsp salt or to taste, Coriander leaves for garnishing

Method

  1. Blend the orange juice, toor dal, corn flour with turmeric powder in blender.. mix this mixture with 2cups of water and boil with salt and rasam powder for 5 mins. add 1tsp crushed peppercorns, tamarind pulp, few of curry leaves and cook for 2 minutes again. heat a non-stick pan, add, red chillies, asafoetida, and mustard seeds and curry leaves.
