Shaahi Arvi recipe - How to make Shaahi Arvi

Ingredients


colocassia (arbi)
large onions
large tomatoes
grated ginger (adrak)
1/4 tbsp coriander (dhania)
salt to taste
turmeric powder (haldi)
chilli powder
cumin seeds (jeera)
1/4 tsp mustard seeds ( rai / sarson)
garam masala- ¼ tea spoon
curd-4 tablespoon
2 spoon oil/ghee

Method

  1. Boil the colacassia in the cooker till single whistle. peel them and deep fry them till brown.
  2. In a kadai heat the oil/ghee. add cumin seeds and mustard seed till they crackle. add ginger and saute till dark in color. grind tomatoes and onions. add onion in the kadai and saute till oil shows in the corner of the mixture. sprinkle salt, turmeric powder, chilli powder, and add tomatoes till the mixture leaves oil in the corners. add the fried
