Ingredients

200 gms paneer (cottage cheese)
200 ml milk
2 tsp cornflour
2 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp kesari milk masala powder , readily available
1 tsp chopped agar-agar
1 cup whipped cream

8 marie biscuits , crushed
2 tbsp ghee

Method

  1. Combine the biscuits and ghee in a bowl and mix well.
  2. Grease a loose bottomed cake tin using butter and spread the biscuit layer evenly and press using hands.
  3. Refrigerate for atleat 15 minutes.

  1. Bring milk to boil in a deep pan, add the sugar and mix well.
  2. Add milk masala, mix well and add the corn flour diissolced in 2 tbsp cold milk, and mix well.
  3. Add the paneer, mix well and remove from the flame. Keep aside to cool.
  4. Meanwhile, boil 1/4 cup water in a deep pan, add the agar-agar and mix well till it dissolves completely.
  5. Strain and add the cooled milk mixture and mix well.
  6. Add the whipped cream and mix well.
  7. Pour the milk-paneer mixture on the biscuit layer and spread evenly.
  8. Cover and refrigerate for atleat 4 hours or till set.
  9. Demould and cut into wedges and serve chilled.
