  1. To make masala corn, heat the butter in a broad non-stick pan, add the sweet corn kernels and sauté on a medium flame for 1 to 2 minutes.
  2. Add the chilli powder, cumin seeds powder, chaat masala, lemon juice and salt, mix well and cook on a medium flame for another 1 to 2 minutes, while stirring occasionally.
  3. Serve masala corn hot.

  1. Take 2 cups of sweet corn kernels.
  2. Bring enough water to boil in a pan.
  3. Add the sweet corn kernels.
  4. Add a pinch of salt.
  5. Boil for 8 to 10 minutes.
  6. Strain well.

  2. Add 2 cups boiled sweet corn kernels (makai ke dane).
  3. Sauté on a medium flame for 1 to 2 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Add 1 tsp chilli powder, this gives the spicy touch. Adjust spice as per your preference. 
  5. Add ¼ tsp cumin powder (jeera ) powder.
  6. Add 1 tsp chaat masala. Just a dash of chaat masala is enough to add a peppy twist to all kinds of chaats and savoury snacks
  7. Add 2 tsp lemon juiceLemon gives a lovely sour taste to the masala corn and is a very good source of Vitamin C and thus helps in the production of  white blood cells and antibodies in the blood which attacks invading microorganisms, prevents infection and builds immunity.
  8. Add salt to taste. We added 1/4th tsp salt. Less salt is used as we have some coming from chaat masala and butter.
  9. Mix well.
  10. Cook on a medium flame for another 1 to 2 minutes, while stirring occasionally.
  11. Serve hot.
