3 cups deseeded and chopped watermelon (tarbuj)
1/4 tsp roasted cumin seeds (jeera) powder
1/4 tsp black salt (sanchal)

Method
For watermelon slush

  1. To make watermelon slush, blend the watermelon in a mixer till smooth.
  2. Transfer it into a deep bowl, add roasted cumin seed (jeera) powder, black salt (sanchal) and mix well.
  3. Pour the watermelon mixture into a shallow aluminium container and cover it with an aluminium foil.
  4. Freeze it for approx. 10 to 12 hours or until it is firm.
  5. Remove it from the freezer and keep aside for 4 to 5 minutes.
  6. Scrape it with a fork.
  7. Serve healthy indian watermelon sorbet immediately in 3 individual glasses.
