Ingredients

2 capsicum
2 onions
2 tbsp cheese spread
2 tbsp mayonnaise
8 to 10 bread slices
1 cup besan (bengal gram flour)
1 cup milk
chilli powder to taste
salt and freshly ground black pepper (kalimirch) powder to taste
oil for deep frying

To Be Mixed Into A Batter
1 cup besan (bengal gram flour)
water as required
salt to taste

Method
    Method
  1. Finely chop capsicum and onion in a chopper and squeeze out as much water as you can.
  2. In a bowl mix chopped vegetables, cheese spread, mayonnaise, salt, pepper powder and chilli powder and mix well.
  3. Cut the edges and soak the bread slices in milk and squeeze out excess milk.
  4. Fill the mixture and roll just like bread pakoras.
  5. Make sure to fill in small amounts so that the optimum size and flavour is maintained.
  6. Heat the oil in a kadhai, dip the balls in batter and deep fry till they turn golden brown and crisp from all the sides.
  7. Serve hot.
